Need buttermilk for a recipe but don’t have any at home? Don’t fret, here’s a simple way to make your own substitute.
Ingredients:
1 cup of milk
1 1/2 tsp of fresh lemon juice or cider vinegar.
How-to:
Just warm up your milk a little, don’t bring it to a boil. Then add in the fresh lemon juice or cider vinegar.
Let it sit for about 5 to 10 minutes. It looks curdled and tastes a little sourish.
